Our desire is that you become empowered and inspired through our commitment to prevention, education, diagnosis and treatment amid a welcoming, experienced and compassionate medical team.
Our Core Values
- Passion – Practicing medicine isn't just something that we do, it is what we love. Building relationships and relating with our patients as well as committing to their health is the service that brings energy and enthusiasm to our every day.
- Partnership – Because of our passion to serve, we partner with numerous experts in the medical field as well as community to ensure our patients have maximum collaboration in restoring their health.
- Education – Always available, but not always needed; our desire is to teach our patients how to not need us in most health circumstances. Educating our patients during visits for mind, body and spirit, we provide the information needed for freedom and independence in their health.
- Faith – Our belief in Jesus Christ motivates our service and our hope for the health and prosperity of our patients.
Our Mission
To be on the growing edge as providers of excellent, multidimensional health services for the total person by facilitating our patients and ourselves to become empowered through prevention, education, diagnosis, and treatment in a compassionate, spiritually stimulating, friendly, and fun primary sports medicine practice.
Whether on the sideline of a local sporting event, supporting local organizations, or our time in the office, our proactive approach to medicine is done with the purpose of building a reliable and trustworthy relationship with you and our community.

- Served seven years at Sumner High School
- Has given his time to Auburn Riverside and occasionally with other Auburn High Schools
- Worked as a Washington State Football Championship and Playoff team doctor for the last 25 years intermittently

After partnering with head trainer Steve Calhoun and assisted by Dr Steve Anderson at Auburn Hospital Emergency Department, $95,000 was raised from within the community. These funds were enough to place AEDs in all Auburn School Scholl District schools within 3 minutes of every student, teacher, faculty and staff. Michelle Myers Murphy, ARNP
Michelle Myers Murphy started her journey in medicine after completing her undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University in Environmental Science in 1999. Soon after, Michelle joined the Peace Corps, which took her to Mali, West Africa. Her witness of healthcare deprivation in the third world changed her life forever.
While in Mali, Michelle witnessed first hand death and poor health of mothers and their children. Partnering with the community, government and other groups sent to help the people, Michelle created a family planning project that quickly branched out and progressed to monitoring newborn and infant development and ensuring polio vaccination access for all age groups. From that point forward her path was clear; healthcare is where she felt she could make the biggest difference.
Upon returning to the States, Michelle pursued her nursing degree in Portland, Maine and started a family. While in Portland she worked as an RN on the Ortho/Neuro floor at Maine Medical Center and after graduation with her Nurse Practitioner degree, she accepted a position in family practice in Prosser, Washington.
After 4 years in Prosser, Michelle discovered her desire to focus in on preventative care; instead of solely treating symptoms she wanted to help prevent problems that steal the quality of life from patients. Ready for a fresh start with her two beautiful children, Michelle connected with Dr. Graham Reedy and his staff in 2011. She immediately felt both a sense of home and the excitement that comes with a new challenge.
Michelle has wanted to merge her personal passion for sports and fitness (she is a long distance runner, biker, and climber) with her professional interests. She is happy to have found the right fit at Sports Activity Medicine.
